We had so much fun this Thanksgiving. All the siblings went home this year. It was loud, it was yummy and it was fun! We kept in tradition with our sister challenge...which ended up having only one official event, the 5k run. (or the 1.3 mile run...which I think we all liked better) It was a fierce competition as everyone made their way around Dad and Mom's house in a big circle. Our fans cheered us on the whole way. The offical times are as follows: Melanie 11:50, Kathy 12:48, Amy 14:56, JoAnn 15:50 and Florence 27:10. Then we all enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner...which was especially tasty. JoAnn and Robert fared the crowds and did a little Black Friday shopping at Pahrump's Wal-mart. We were also able to travel to Utah to see family. Robert's two sisters had their babies blessed. Two baby boys (Jack and Gordon) who are very cute. It was so fun to visit with them and have all 4 cousins together. We know you all want to see pictures of the house, they will be coming shortly. Watch the slide show to see 2 pics of when it snowed! Love ya!

Finally in the House!
Well we finally were able to close last Thursday after a few hours of phone calls and lots of nagging. If you are ever buying a home in Huntsville AL DONT use Platinum Mortgage!!!! All weekend Mel and I (ok mostly Mel) worked nonstop to set up the new house and clean out the old Apt. Aside from all the joys of trying to prevent a 17 month old from getting into everything and losing my keys for 2 days everything went pretty smoothly (the DSL and satellite people even showed up when scheduled!) Stay posted for pics of the house as we conintue to get things in place. We took Kaden Trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood, and he caught on right away. For all of our new Alabama neighbors, just because Kaden is in a tiger costume does not mean we are Auburn fans, we are still neutral in the Auburn vs. Alabama rivalry.

Still waitin'...
Well we are still waiting for our house... it has been done for over 2 weeks now but all of the red tape is holding us up. We feel confident we will close sometime next week, hopefully in the early part. Other than that we are all heathy and as happy as you can be after 8 weeks in a one bedroom apartment with all your stuff in storage. Love you all; can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving!

Hard to post with no Internet...
Hello all! Sorry for the delay but we are starting week 5 without any internet. We are doing pretty well considering our house closing keeps getting moved further and further back. Right now we are closing Oct 28 or 29th but we may be able to do it the week before. We just did our initial walk through today and everything looks great. We cannot wait, something about living in a 1 bedroom month-to-month apartment. Kaden is growing like a weed. Attached are some photos we took at the Space and Rocket Center last Saturday. They were doing a Star Wars preview for some big event next summer, and Kaden already knows the storm troopers are bad and R2D2 is good. Well hope all is well with you all!

Ahead of Schedule!
It may be the first time in history but our house is ahead of schedule!! I went to Huntsville this weekend and was very surprised to see just how far along our house was. It took me a while to even find the house because I was looking for a house that was only framed and possibly sheet rocked. Below you can see how far along they are; construction is due to be completed at the end of Sept.
