Kaden's Claim to Fame

Recently while getting some supplies at Office Depot the editor of a local magazine aske if Kaden could be in a photo shoot for a story on midwives. I said that would be fine and here are the results. I guess the picture was supposed to be real natural so they weren't trying to get smiles. The magazine is called Her Magazine of Texarkana and came out on March 1. Enjoy!

Hello all! School has started for me and Mel is starting the second week of her job at the university. We are both adjusting but all is going quite well. We are all very excited that grandma and grandpa Philpot are visiting at the end of Feb and grandma Anderson is going to be here for a few weeks in May. Included are a few pics and some videos. Finally peace...

Normalcy...Finally

A few hard nights of Kaden crying and now he is doing great! The first night we decided to leave him in the crib and not pick him up in the night he cried a total of 3.5 hours or so (during the entire night). Like most of you know this is really hard to listen to. But just last night when we put him to bed he cried for maybe 5 minutes before falling asleep! It was wonderful....for all of us to get some sleep. I'm starting a part time job on Monday at Texas A & M-Texarkana in the admissions office. Robert is doing good with his new classes and as you can see in the videos below Kaden is having a good time too. We love you,
